It’s the first RFID cable seal – compliant with ISO17712 technical standards – available on the market that is able to provide its status information, UNLOCKED,  LOCKED or TAMPERED,  which is stored in the RFID chip. For this reason, the product has been named “three-state“.

The outer polypropylene plastic housing of the seal – customizable with mark and numbering on request – embeds an unique and latest generation of electronic chip, that has its own univocal coding, which cannot be replicated.

This allows for secure and reliable automatic identification of the seal applied to the container or vehicle.

Keyholders are available in several lengths and custom lengths are also available on special order.
The use of RFID technology enables automatic and univocal identification of every keyholder, even when many of them are gathered together in a  security bag or security box. Any attempt to open or cut and reconnect the cable is permanently registered by the RFID chiptag and evidence of the tamper is given when the keyholder is read again, for instance during daily check at time when keyholders are brought back to the main office by the security staff.

It is an adjustable seal and can be used in many different conditions, in particular in any application to protect cargos during shipping and intermodal freight.

CABLESEAL 3,5×250 mm has the body completely made in anodised aluminium (*) and a steel cable comes out of it.

Once inserted the opposite end of the cable into the hole, and pulled it to the maximum possible extent, there will be no way to open the seal unless by breaking it with good shears.

This is a High Security Seal compliant with requirements impose by ISO 17712:2013.

(*) Anodising is a non- spontaneous electrochemical process by which a protective oxide layer forms on the surface of the treated metal and protects it from corrosion.
